Back from my Vietnam tour, I will spend a lot of time in the next months dealing with a possible system change. The last trip has once again shown me the disadvantages of the EOS 1 DX “brick” with intensive aviation. The camera is one of the best on the market today but it is unnecessarily heavy and bulky.

Sad that the Canon has completely overslept the mirrorless era. Since everything at Canon is always slow, I do not expect a light, compact professional mirrorless body at the level of the A9 within the next 1-2 years and so I will spend a lot of time with Sony in the coming months. The connection of Canon Supertele lenses and extenders with the Sony A9 is particularly important to me, because Sony can not currently offer anything in the area of super-telephoto with e-mount. It is also necessary to examine the seal against dust and water, the camera must be at the level of 1Dx otherwise it is not an alternative for me.
